Banners

‘Banners’ is derived from the French ‘banniere’ which is flag cloth. Banns were official proclamations and in Churches banners would signify the sect or saint to which the church is dedicated. “Abandon” means to leave or change allegiance to your Bann(er). Today they are a very flexible graphical tool, created in all shapes and sizes and with a vast array of fittings available to place your message anywhere with sufficient area to carry it.
